Our commitment
Mandeville Total Wellness is committed to making our website and our practice accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which is the standard most commonly referenced for public-facing websites.
What we have built in
- Semantic page structure with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order, so screen readers can navigate it
- Text alternatives on meaningful images
- Colour combinations chosen to meet contrast requirements against our background palette
- Keyboard access to navigation, links and buttons, without requiring a mouse
- Text that reflows and remains readable when enlarged or viewed on a small screen
- Labelled form fields on our signup forms
- Motion that is decorative only, so nothing important is lost if animation is reduced or disabled
Where we know we depend on others
Parts of this site are provided by third parties, including our email signup forms and our online booking. We have chosen providers that take accessibility seriously, but we do not control their code. If any of those elements stops you completing something, call us and we will do it with you over the phone. Booking by phone is always available and is never a lesser option.
Our office
Our office is at 221 St. Ann Dr. #2, Mandeville, LA 70471. If you have specific access needs for an appointment, whether that is parking, entry, seating, timing, or having someone with you, call ahead on (985) 624-9888 and we will make arrangements before you arrive rather than sorting it out at the door.
Tell us when we get it wrong
If you run into a barrier on this website or in our practice, we want to know. Please tell us what you were trying to do, what happened, and what you were using, such as a screen reader, a phone, or keyboard only. That detail is what lets us actually fix it.

Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a box we tick once. As we add pages and features we check them, and we review the site periodically. This policy is a statement of intent and effort rather than a claim of perfection.
