What this site collects

When you join our email list

Our signup forms collect your first name and email address, and nothing else. These are handled by Flodesk, our email provider, and are used to send you the material you asked for and occasional practice news. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you.

When you book an appointment

Online booking is handled by Cal.com and collects your name, email address and optionally a phone number. It deliberately does not ask any health questions. That is a design decision, not an oversight: we keep the booking step free of health information so that scheduling never becomes a place where sensitive detail is collected. Anything clinical is discussed in the office.

Automatically, as you browse

Like most websites, ours records standard technical information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring site, and device and browser type. This is used to understand how the site is performing.

Analytics and advertising tools

We use the following third-party tools on this site:

• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.), which records visits and lets us measure and target advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC), which reports aggregate traffic and behaviour.

These tools set cookies and similar identifiers in your browser. You can limit them through your browser settings, through your device's advertising controls, or through Meta's ad preferences. Most browsers also honour a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting, and blocking cookies will not stop you using this site.

We do not connect these tools to any health information, because the site does not collect any.

How long we keep it

Email subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe or ask to be removed. Booking records are retained as part of normal appointment scheduling. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's default retention period.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email or call using the details below and we will handle it. You do not need to give a reason and it will not affect your care.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. We do treat children in the practice, but those arrangements are made by a parent or guardian in person or by phone.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Email and booking data live with the providers named above, each of which maintains its own security programme. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
