Nutrition Response Testing® in Mandeville
Your labs came back normal and you still feel awful. That is the conversation that starts most first visits here.
New patients book online. If you are already a patient, please call the office so we can put you with the right practitioner.
Most people who walk into our office in Mandeville have already been somewhere else. They have had the bloodwork. They have been told everything looks fine. And they still wake up tired, still bloat after dinner, still cannot lose the weight, still do not feel like themselves.
Nutrition Response Testing® is a way of asking the body a different question. Not “is there a disease here”, which is what a lab panel is built to answer, but “what is getting in the way of this body working the way it should”.
What it actually is
It is a non-invasive analysis of the body’s nervous system reflexes. Dr. Bob tests specific reflex points that relate to organs and systems, and observes how the body responds. Nothing is injected, nothing is cut, and there is no radiation involved. Most people find it more interesting than uncomfortable.
What comes out of it is not a diagnosis. It is a picture of where your body is under stress, and what nutritional support it responds to. That distinction matters, and we are careful about it: we do not diagnose or treat disease. We identify underlying stressors and recommend whole food nutritional support so your body can do its own repair work.
The six stressors we look for
Over forty years of practice, the same handful of things keep turning up underneath stubborn symptoms:
- Scars, including old surgical sites, which can interfere with the energy pathways running through them
- Food sensitivities, often to something you eat every single day and would never suspect
- Immune challenges, the low-grade kind that never became an acute illness
- Chemicals, from cleaning products to what is on the produce
- Heavy metals, including from dental work and older plumbing
- Post-viral load, the residue an infection leaves behind long after you felt better
Most people have more than one. The order we address them in is part of the work.
What happens on a first visit
Sixty minutes, and it is a real conversation before it is anything else.
- A complete health history. Not a clipboard in the waiting room. We want the timeline, because symptoms almost always trace back to something.
- An HRV test. Heart rate variability gives us a real-time reading on how your nervous system is coping. It is a number, it is objective, and we can watch it change over time.
- The Nutrition Response Testing analysis itself.
- A plan you understand. Specific whole food supplements, matched to what your body responded to, plus the food changes that actually matter for you.
The first visit is $75, and that covers the full hour.
Why the supplements are whole food
We use Standard Process, which makes supplements from actual food grown on their own farm rather than from isolated synthetic compounds. There is a reason for that. A body recognises food. It does not always recognise a lab-built molecule that shares a name with a vitamin.
Nothing is generic here. Two people with the same complaint routinely leave with different recommendations, because they tested differently. That is the entire point, and it is why we do not publish a standard protocol for anything.
Is this instead of my doctor?
No, and we will say so plainly. We do not manage medication, we do not order or interpret bloodwork as a diagnostic service, and we are not a substitute for medical care. Keep your physician. Plenty of our patients work with us and with their doctor at the same time, and that is exactly how it should be.
What we do is the part that usually goes unaddressed: what is actually stressing your system, and what to feed it.
Booking
New patients book online. If you are already a patient, please call the office at (985) 624-9888 rather than booking online, so we can make sure you get the practitioner you have been seeing.
Not sure this is the right starting point?
That is what a first visit is for. Sixty minutes, a full health history, an HRV test and a complete Nutrition Response Testing® analysis, so the plan is built on what your body is actually asking for rather than a guess.
